• Notes

  Edwin Stephens became a seaman on the ship American Legion, bound for South America. On his return he shipped on the Matson Liner for the West Coast. He becaue ill at Tampa, Florida and was sent to the hospital. He was transferred to the Marine Hospital, Savannah, Georgia. His mother and sister Doris went back to see him. He died about four months later. His body was brought back and interred in Mt. View Cemetery, San Bernardino, CA.
